SITUATION IN NEPAL AND VISION:
In Nepal countless children are deprived of the most basic items such as food, education, love and medical care. Many among these are orphans.
Their only refuge is the street - an environment in which they beg, use drugs and are an easy prey for child prostitution.
Others have very poor parents or just one parent who are not able to pay the school and have to struggle for survival every day. The children have to help as soon as possible to earn money even if they would prefer to go to school.
New Life Child Care Home in Kathmandu is an NGO established in July 2009 (in Nepal`s kalender 2066). It is a non profit, non political, purely social organization which has been founded by a samll group of friends who are totally dedicated to help orphaned and poor children.
The only way to fight against Nepal`s enduring poverty is to provide children a holistic education. The only way to prevent young people from going abroad and using their talents outside Nepal or living on the streets is to give them hope for a better future.
With that vision in mind New Life Child Care Home will strive to educate orphans and poor children and allow them to become dedicated citizens.
