- Mother and father are alkoholics and not able to care for him and his sisters who are also living in the orphanage (Chameli and Beli Tamang).
2) Pema Sherpa:

- older sister of Tshering

- born in 1996
- Sister of Jagat and Chameli Tamang
4) Tshering Sherpa:
- born in 2000
- Her mother is suffering from cancer and her father has died already. They couldn`t afford school.
- Tsherings sister Pema is also living in the home.

- born in 1994
- Sister of Jagat Tamang

- His mother died, the father is dishwasher and very poor. He could not afford school.
7) Deepa Rai:
- born in 2002
- Her fahter is missed since 7 years. The mother has a new man who does not want Deepa.
8) Trishana Tamang:
- born in 2004
- Her mother died with 31 years because of breast cancer and the father is alcoholic.
- He is not able to care for his child.
9) Meena:
- born in 2001
- Her mother is living in a village, her father has died at an accident 2009. They couldn`t afford school. Meenas sister Kumari is working in the home as cook.
